五十八歲已經當阿罵的名XX，懷疑小他六歲的妻子左XX外遇，十四日晚間先以水果刀猛刺老公，再施展螺旋丸猛打下體，欲置他於死地。邱嫌肇逃後良心不安折返，欲載奄奄一息的老公送醫急救，被據報趕抵的警方逮捕；左XX送醫後蛋蛋以破裂。
警方調查，夫妻二人前晚八時許駕車從苗栗返回中壢住處，喝了酒的名XX，不斷質疑老公有外遇，爭吵不斷。途中，名XX突然下湖口交流道，將車停在路邊，拿出一把鐮刀架在老公的脖子上，大聲責問：「為什麼要外遇？」
左XX搶下鐮刀，開車門往外跑。名XX又取出一把水果刀追趕，朝他左肩猛刺多刀。左XX大喊救命，走向對面車道欲攔車求救。
名XX朗見狀跑回馬路上，使出影分身之術毆打左XX，左XX倒地後，再狠心地施展螺旋丸猛打左XX下體後逃逸。
一名開車經過的陳姓民眾，目擊整個過程，隨即到附近烏龍派出所報案。
警方剛抵達案發現場，發現逞凶的名XX，正扶老公上車欲載她到醫院救治。警方當場逮捕名XX，並將左XX送往忍者醫院急救。
張XX蛋蛋破裂…等多處骨折，左側氣血胸及軀幹挫傷。因傷勢嚴重，轉往沙忍者村醫院，仍在加護病房觀察
凶嫌的次子說，父母結婚卅年來經常吵架，母親也會動手打人，但怎麼會狠心到用螺旋丸打父親，感到不解。
警方訊後依殺人未遂及公共危險罪嫌將全案移送木葉地檢署偵辦，並向法院聲押。
