但在地圖設定上不明白,

In the file you will find:
2 Scripts.
1 GPF file with the map, its texture, and its mini-map.
1 ZIP with all the files of the construction of the map (For those who wish to make a compatible ground).
1 GPF file with 2 sets of pallets of clothing (For the Red Team and for the Blue Team). These pallets are numbered 78 and 79.
Instillation
Scripts
PoringBall_start.txt script contains a NPC in Prontera (in the PvP inn) which can warp the players to the map where the teams are trained.
PoringBall_main.txt contains many NPC. All NPC to make the teams (An Organizer, 2 Assistants, and 2 Coaches), NPC timers for the course of the match, 1 NPC on the ground reserved for the Game Masters, and the "Ball" NPC.
The NPC can go in the npc/custom folder of your server, and they should be declared in: "scripts_custom.conf"
Example:
QUOTE(npc/scripts_custom.conf)
npc: npc/custom/PoringBall_start.txt
npc: npc/custom/PoringBall_main.txt
Note: The principle of the Ball and the match is based on the timers and not on zones triggers. The Ball/Poring advances box by box.
Map
It is necessary to include the map with all of its files. You can use the GPF already provided or you can add it to an existing GPF.
Server Side Edits:
Add like this at the end of the files:

You must compile your own mapcache.exe. To do this just open up cygwin if you use it, enter cd c:/yoursvnlocation/src/tool/. Now enter make mapcache. Now go back to your where your EXE's and batch files are and look for one called mapcache.exe. Double click it and let it automatically add the new map into the cache.
You can check here for a pre-compiled mapcache.exe file.

- Make sure there is no space between the \\ and the 02. The forum won't allow me to put them together.
Palettes
Bah yes, the players will run everywhere, to roll themselves in mud, to get dirty and all that, then the nice organizers lend them shirts for the duration of the match. Sympathetic no? These splendid shirts are pallets 78 and 79. They make it possible to better differentiate the teams. They should be added with the client (in the GPF given or another GRF/GPF) and are contained in the file: PoringBall_Palettes.gpf.
Now for the last step, make sure your client can support 79 palettes. Simply go to conf/battle/client.conf and change the "max_cloth_color" to 79, or whatever your max palette is + 2 (adding the 2 Poring Ball palettes). |
